in the end its all about you and what you do with the cls you choose by yourself... meta and pf-lockouts are a construct which we built ourselves just to be frustrated in the end - its us not the devs to blame for this situation.

And what I and many people in this thread want is to be able to play RedMage and have it be balanced just like every other goddamn job in this game. Yes PF is full of idiots who think meta is the only way to play, but its much easier for the Dev's to simply press some keys and change a few values instead of them or us trying to change the minds of every foolish person to host a PF restricted to only meta outside of places where meta actually matters. We're here in this Thread hoping that the Dev's will do their jobs as a developers and change something that is straight up making this game feel more like a chore than an actual game.

And don't you tell me to just unsub. I love this game to death, I'm not just gonna call it quits without at least trying to make changes happen.

Perfect post! People here act like everyone who complains about balance is some kind of Meta Nazi who goes for Omega Normal runs using BRD/NIN/MCH/DRG/PLD/WAR/SCH/AST and belittle everyone who don't, when in fact we just want our classes to be as strong as others and this forum and Reddit are the only places we have to try and reach the developers.

Right now BLM and SAM bring literally nothing to a group, while RDM is a progression only job, and it's not like it's a recent issue either, if they get finally fixed at 4.3 (and let's be honest they probably won't) it'll still be more than 7 months with those classes being super weak by comparison while there are 3 classes who are basically mandatory and for some reason never ever get nerfed.
