Yeah enrage timers exist for the precise reason of making boss fights not drag on forever. I played a game where bosses had shitty regen mechanics and no enrage timers. let me tell you- it sucked.Let's not. Enrage timers exist for a reason.
"after 18 hours of combat members of the party started throwing up and passing out from exhaustion"

apology for poor englishQuor, I see your argument failed to gain traction in the tank subforum so you are trying to get this misinformation to spread here. Let me summarize the responses on the tank subforum here: The initial Bok analysis is deeply flawed, he produced his 5% nerf by only taking into account the nerfs in his math, 5% is the effect of the change without including the new burst window and additional Fell Cleaves from not spending gauge and being able to take advantage of the infuriate trait.
Multiple people have worked on multiple spreadsheets and they all come to same conclusions, despite the net loss on the main combos and autoattacks and even the oGCD's the new warrior burst window and additional gauge should theoretically increase warrior dps above what warriors are currently pulling independent of ilvl. This may not be the playstyle people want, but it is likely not a nerf in damage, infact it is likely a buff or at least neutral.
If you don't believe the math and excel spreadsheets, which, despite what you seem to think, do take into account warrior's self buffing, raid buffs, and the reduction of the eye buff on things like autoattacks, then I suggest waiting for the content to release so that you can put it into practice rather than spreading misinformation here and trying to nuke enrage timers. And by the way, getting rid of enrage timers will do nothing to the dps meta of this game because believe it or not people actually enjoy speed running content for a reason, and its not for meeting enrage timers at this point. Who wants to run dungeons for 60 minutes? Who wants to kill neo ex death with autoattacks and be in the instance for 24 hours?
where were you when OP was kill?
i was sat at Kugane eating cheeseburger when Yoshi-P call
'op is die'
'no'
and you?????????????????????????????????
Okay, I can't handle this anymore. Why is it always the kind of players we hear about in that tales from duty finder that makes these threads.
Enrage timers are an essential part of designing a boss fight. Are you planning to kill a boss or just serve it tea and have a nice afternoon chat? Most content here is PvE, PvE means the objective is killing the boss within certain parameters. Enrage timers are one of these parameters to make sure you don't HEAL the boss to death or BORE it to death. Remove enrage timers and I GUARANTEE YOU you'll have healers crying for days as everybody will only want to run on double WHM as they cannot run out of MP as long as you have an monkey behind the keyboard.
Also can you stop using our tank nerfs as a way to push your carebear agenda? Warrior changes only reduce our complexity. Our combo won't feel as good to pull off but our power is relatively still there. Warrior being my main, the community of Warrior mains, we will persevere. We WILL push our damage to the limit as any other tank worth their salt aspires to do. We WILL make bad DPS players look bad. The only way to stop that is to actually read up a guide on your class and manage to not be bad yourself. If that's too much for you, well enjoy the tanks just outshining you in every aspect of this game.
Finally, if the enrage timer is your hurdle that's anti-fun, I got news for you. You aren't competent in the least bit. Ask any progression raider, those that actually go out into Savage week 1, that don't wait for their ilvl to rise to compensate, and they'll tell you the following thing. Enrage is only a problem while you are learning the fight. Once the fight is learned, you know how and when to use your cooldowns, know how to increase your uptime and maximize boss positioning, the timer is not even an afterthought. I mean people kill Neo Exdeath before he even uses Neverwhere! Maybe even earlier as I don't keep on top of the raiding scene.
TL;DR Enrage timers are good and here to stay. Don't use tank nerfs to push your low-tier, bottom of the barrel, ice mage loving agenda.

Can I go a single day without reading a thread title or post that has had zero thought put into it?
I'd post a usual wall of text but I'd be beating a dead horse and/or parroting people.
Multiple people of varying skill levels agree, just quit or don't do the content if you dislike enrage timers.
Oh god, having a death penalty would undo all the work they’ve done to increase our inventory space and bring back the inventory crisis back in full force; punishing players with multiple jobs, crafters, and gatherers levelled. You would literally have to carry two full sets of gear with you at all times for every job you have levelled else you have no gear at all if you end up delevelling mid progression. Not to mention the increased responsibility to keep people alive (likely to deter people from playing the healer role), and the balance implications with a delevel system and level 70 dungeons/trials/raids.
Edit: Imagine the potential of abuse with healers using Rescue to pull people off platforms or into AoEs to force a delevel lol.

Yeeeeah de leveling is garbage and shitty design and I'm glad that's gone.Oh god, having a death penalty would undo all the work they’ve done to increase our inventory space and bring back the inventory crisis back in full force; punishing players with multiple jobs, crafters, and gatherers levelled.
