Yep. The special housing skins (moogle, chocobo, merchant wall, etc) will also transfer up as well. Might check the mbs right now if there's any that you fancy as they're rather cheap at the moment since retainers started bringing them back.

One thing you have to keep in mind though, when you relocate, all the items in your house get put into your storeroom. So after relocating you will have to redecorate your place.

Should have waited for the patch imo. Transferring to a new house costs the same as buying the plot in the first place.

Since you just bought a house you'll have to pay that same cost again if you want to transfer or more if you want to upgrade.

Personal housing won't be available for purchase right away when SE adds the new wards. Only free companies will initially be able to purchase plots so OP was lucky to acquire a house before the patch. There is no guarantee he would be able to obtain one later.

Be wary of cost from small to medium. I know when I dumped my small and bought a medium I had to pay full depreciated (at that time) price which was about 17 mil plus 1 mil for deed. The other interesting thing I found out about relocation, is that the outer skin goes with you on upgrade. I moved from shiro small to a goblet large. The castle skin walls also upgrade. So if you buy /make a 4m small castle, then move to med, that castle upgrades also, basically saving you 20m from having to buy a med castle skin!
