Final Omega Tier Final Fantasy Villian Predictions

I actually have zero interest in fighting Omega so I personally hope it subverts previous raid chains and has the final fight be something else.

Also, for people who keep mentioning Sephirot and Sephiroth, just stop. There's no need to handwave anything. They purposefully misspelled it to differentiate the two. Even in Japanese the primal's name is "セフィロト," Sefiroto. Sephiroth is "セフィロス," Sefirosu. Instead of a handwave they would most likely crack a bad joke about how similar their names are.

I'm still selfishly hoping for a FFX crossover in some regard, personally.

was't Zenos as close to sephiroth as you can ask for in this game? And with honestly better characterization? They have the same build and weapon type after all. I'm not even sure why people care for him so much, he's really a bland villain overall.

As Enkidoh mentioned on the first page, XIV already had its version of Sephiroth with Nael in 1.0. But people want fanservice and VII is a lot of people's first major RPG or first FF so they want their favorite villain in. Zenos was a different flavor of sociopath

I actually have no idea why either. I'm not exactly a FFVII "hater" but I have my issues with the main hero and villain.

I mean he goes from being a normal, OP soldier to a psychopath over night basically. I get it, you were some sort of science experiment. Still doesn't explain why you kill off an entire village. I'm assuming people will use JENOVA's influence or some such as an excuse. But still, he doesn't really have much motivation outside "poor me" and "mommy".

Maybe someone more versed in VII lore could explain it cause to me it seemed like each addition to the VII story just muddled it further and overcomplicated what I thought was a fairly simple story in the main game.

FFVII was a much more important game to the Final Fantasy franchise than you give it credit.
No, it hasn't aged as well as others in the series, but it's nostalgia. I think Cloud and Sephiroth are pretty boring as characters, but both are deeply entrenched into FF canon and iconography.

How else would so many players notice the first boss of Ala Mhigo is based on the first boss of FFVII?

Seems like Omega doesn't need to appear in a FF series to take the boss OR Omega = Omega Arma

The Omega we're trying to stop in FF14 got the same style in some FF, but not every FF... And this one doesn't appear in FF6. So i suppose i was correct to say that Omega is Omega Arma (cause there is a Omega Arma in FF6)

So, trying to predict the futur boss is quite hard... but Fun !

If we suppose that Omega take boss from FF series from FF5 and FF6, their no reasons we can't have a FF7 Pack of Boss.

But one things is sure, The last boss will be Omega. So we got 3 Boss before him.

I suppose we get the Diamond, Rubis and Emerald Weapon, Cause we can fight 4 Weapons in FF7.

But in FF14, the Ultima Arma is already dead, so get the 3 last weapons won't be impossible (And this could be quite interresting)

well if you want to take a fight from FFXI I would with "One to be feared" for one of the fights in the last set of the Omega raid (OK this might be a little rough being a 3 stage fight, and you might have to swap the last 2 mobs around)
