I want dancer so badly. I also want a new healer. This would make me a very happy person.
Except that every melee has (/had) at least one positional bonus for hitting an enemy from their flank or from behind, both of which are not honorable at all, especially because it almost always means you have to do so while they're busy fighting someone else.Every single melee dps job we have, with the exception of ninja, are known for facing enemies head on. Monks? Traditionally duel one on one and are honorable. Dragoons use spears, which are just as much a defensive as an offensive tool.
We already have three slashing tanks and of them two use swords. At some point dps needed to get a sword, and in lieu of dps getting DRK we got SAM.
Tank don't have positionals.
on the middle of a war the thing what least care any warrior(not matter if you are a samurai, a paladin or other honour bound battle jobs) is honor, what they care is surviving, you won't see someone on the middle of a battle tell someone who is hitting them from behind what that is something dishonouring
honor is more for things like duels, where you fight in equal terms, and so far.. there haven't been many duels in the game no?

I love a lot of the Tactics classes especially Calculator and Juggler. I have no idea how Calculator would work in this game though used to love it in FFTA. Beastmaster would be my third choice.

I’d vote for Blue Mage.

"That's a fine accomplishment lad. Young and lusty as you are, no doubt you'll achieve much and more in the years to come. I look forward to hearin' all your deeds." - Jonathas, Master of the Rolls, Old Gridania

This was just a general term iirc and had nothing to do with their class. For example you can find Firedancer enemys from the Corpse Brigade and they are thaumaturges iirc.
