more that being good desingned to work perfectly from the begining i rater was more the popularity of being RDM nad SAM itself, both are the top list of ff jobs most wanted and both end being dps at the same time, pretty smart move (sarcasm).

and about tanks and healers yeah, they say we dont recive new toys for the shake of balance and we go to recive special treathment for that, we end having a freaking damm mess, lucky healers being balanced fast and now are pretty good, but tanks are still a joke and they keeping giving more stuff to WARs for no good reason when tank balance problems are DRK right now.

but still, being just SAM and RDM alone do a lot more that balance problems you can solve with patchs.

Some new jobs would be awesome too, don't see why they wouldn't add some more.
Going for Beastmaster. However instead of the small amount of pet commands summoner has, the BST pet combos with the BST's skills.
Blue Mage and Dancer are also recurring jobs that could be added.

An FC mate who mained DRK plays RDM now because of the balancing issues.
There were nasty issues with over-nerfing SMN (much of SCH's issues hit SMN, too, and then some) and MCH, DRG, and poor, poor MNK.

Yet, amusingly, PLD and AST are better than ever. Every 2.0 BRD fan cried out in joy at the 4.0 changes. The rest was business as usual.

There is a good argument to be had in that nerfing hard to fix later makes for a better game in the long run because you avoid power creep, but 1/3rd of the jobs got jacked, so a way too large proportion of players naturally leveling the new jobs found their old choices less appealing after putting in the work.

i will be honest im DRK too and only my extreme love for the job keep me playing it, i recognize tanks have a lot of balance problems, they repeat the same mistakes we suffer on heavensward, aka str meta and crafter acc being bis, plus tank stances being worthless that ever now with shirk but damm if you go to add new jobs dont add 2 dps at the same time, that was overkill.

this expansion sould only get SAM as much, they sacrifice a lot not only adding both jobs dps but even break the promise of a good balance on us, i really expect a good rewrok on tanks but this.... for this i preffer a new job.

thats depends of what are you queue on and in what time, im starting to lvl my rdm and queues are around 20 min.

but i say it more the last census show tank/healer population get down a few % thanks to RDM and SAM and thats was a mistake, meaby you cant make tank/healer population grown with new jobs but you surely dont have to make it get down even more and thats what double dps expansion bring us.

next expansion need a healer and a tank, no more dps until 6.0

That's a fair point. I usually queue around 4-6 PM EST and I'm usually queued as RDM or NIN. And I fully agree on needing a new tank and healer. Only fair considering we got two DPS roles this expansion.

Race. Glamour is the true end game, and honestly I get the feeling SE struggles with the jobs we already have. I STILL don't honestly think AST is designed very well, so I'm super nervous about whatever they bake up for the next healer.
