With the holiday season in the US coming on quick there has been a lot of major game releases. I think the drop in players has more to do with that and is temporary then the craft changes in 1.19

Also.. im sorry but 10k is nothing to me, i wouldnt stop and craft a few stacks for 10k unless i had absolutly nothing going on(which is rare). Considering 5 stacks is 15 synths i couldve gotten alot of xp in another craft in that time. Im not greedy either I often make things for free for randoms because its not about the price its about the time it takes for me to help you.

in ffxi one of the few rules in a linkshell were this, no asking linkshell members for gils, that includes mats and items/weapons and gear. they are all in the wards in ffxiv just the same. if it's to add materia i get that just like abjurations in ffxi, but other then that no one should be responsible for saving you gil cause guess what the crafters are gathering there mats the same way you did and that is not what they charging you for. it's for there time they invested getting to max and making the items now. a mmo isn't a pyramid scheme where people that don't want to earn there own way can just ask everyone to do everything for them. good community or not, ffxi had a awesome community, and no one did this type of stuff that you are asking for. it's called begging and thinking your time is worth more then theres.

Ok, in XI this was the case maybe on your world but not everyone's. As for the OP "begging"; maybe but you're making an assumption on their (btw there is a place not a person) behalf. Our server has no issue with people asking for help, it's part of the community as the OP said and my LS has tons of crafters that as long as you have the mats ready and the recipe for said item(s) they will gladly make them for you. Sounds like you yourself have an issue with community and helping people out. Even with my crafting levels as low as they are, I STILL help people with no expectation of reward whether gil or otherwise as well as making reasonably priced items to sell to new/returning players in the wards.

If you believe that being rich in make believe is a goal, you may want to seek some help yourself; then again, you WILL have to pay for it. RL does not have to = game life.

It was neither fun nor rewarding. Besides, most used bots or macros because crafting in this game is mind numbingly boring.

if you didn't find it so then it may be true for you, but as i have made multiple pieces of +3 gear that is very rewarding to have an item go from nq to +3. that was rewarding and a great feeling that you did make that high end gear that is the best in the game.

you can claim bots got people up, but i have almost all 50's and have never once used one, never taken part in the power leveling bs, and have done it all legit. if i can do it so can anyone else without cheating. i am not saying there isn't an issue with botting because there is, but don't try to act like everyone that crafts bots because you are blatantly calling me one and are dead wrong.

you complain about bots, but yoshi has done nothing besides give botters more power in this game. great job dev team.

Since the leve changes I've seen a lot more crafters on Fabul. Before the patch when I crafted it was pretty lonely, but now there are usually big groups of people crafting by the local NPCs

also OP we have 8 LS slots so I suggest joing a few LS's that will be the easiest way to find a crafter because I'm willing to bet the reason people are not standing around in uldah crafting all the time is because there is stuff to do.
