. A parser for extreme and savage is fine, but on top of that a personal one. I think a personal one would help you improve in dungeons and pre extreme and savage too. That way you can dodge the people in dungeons harrasing you for doing ''low''. Fair game eh?
Oh they are real and there're plenty of them if you pay attention ofc, and they don't care about your tips. This guy never used fire IV for the entire dungeon. He was spamming freeze, blizz1 and 3 all day long with some fire 2 on every single mob.
I actually parse myself, not only to improve myself but also to know how much I can push in a dungeon as a tank. Nobody knows however, no matter how bad the situation is, I never bring it up, or leave a duty, or try to kick someone because of it. However, about the personal parser, as a software developer myself, I can tell you this one thing for sure: if something you put in a program can backfire, then it will backfire. And I am afraid a personal parser in DF might backfire...
I rarely and I mean rarely see people getting kicked from dungeons, unless they play on a troll level or afk too long. I've witness more toxic people without one where I simply ask simple questions:I actually parse myself, not only to improve myself but also to know how much I can push in a dungeon as a tank. Nobody knows however, no matter how bad the situation is, I never bring it up, or leave a duty, or try to kick someone because of it. However, about the personal parser, as a software developer myself, I can tell you this one thing for sure: if something you put in a program can backfire, then it will backfire. and this guy did 1.2k less than my WHM and couldn't even kill his own add in the first boss in kugane castle. I got kicked for dpsing as healer and never let anyone die.
As you can see I even stated in the fc the tank didn't even use cooldown, I don't say things to troll, I say things when I see it happens. If a BLM does bad and that's without a parser, do you think it will be any difference with a parser? I HIGHLY doubt it. Bad players will be spotted with and without a parser in dungeons. A BLM shouldn't be 1k lower than a WHM. And this wasn't even why I got kicked, I got kicked because tank refused to use cooldowns on trash adds. Then I noticed the BLM's dps but never mentioned how bad it was.

I think you have actually proved my point. That's the average wannabe I talked about before. Now dumb down the rotations so that the performance depends mostly in the gear and nothing else and give them a tool to compare themselves to everybody else. Do you think it would be better or even worse than what you have just showed? Be honest.
How can people defend not-playing as any sort of defense.
You can be bad at the game, it's okay. People that would be dicks are still going to be dicks, it doesn't matter whether there's a parser there or not.
Jeez.
"You have a heart of gold. Don't let them take it from you!"
No it doesnt prove your point at all, it actually does the opposite. If a parser was wide in a group, even in dungeons, he could talk as much shit he would but he mostlikely wouldn't because he would seen in his own eyes how bad he was. The wannabe's are those who don't even use a parser and tell others people they are bad, when they are actually super bad on their own. I honestly think it will be less chance of this happening in a group with a parser. If someone think they are doing good but have no proof of it and harras others for doing shit, a parser will prevent that, because they wil see on their own screen how bad they are doing. Just being honest here. If this BLM was talking like this in front of everyone with a parser, he would mostlikely be the one being kicked, hell even the tank might been kicked because they would KNOW I was right about the tank in the first place and a BLM doing less than a healer is in no position to tell a healer like myself to get gud. Nobody died and I did more than him, so he would even look more silly in a group with people with a parser. Another example, I got kicked in a dungeon because I was taking aggro of the tank evem with diversion, because he said I was a try hard. Happened to another guy somewhere on the forum like not so long time ago either, he even posted the screenshot.I think you have actually proved my point. Do you really think that the devs would leave the rotations and gameplay just as it is right now if they introduced a parser? Really? I mean, really?
I want you all to see the whole picture here guys. I have seen in a dungeon two dps with the same job: one was over 8k and the other was roughly at 1k. Both of them in about the same gear. Now, do you really really think that the devs would leave the rotations and gameplay just as it is right now if they introduce a parser?
I know I would not. For sure. That would make the game lose so many subscriptions that I might as well close the business and go home. Please, try to see the full picture. Otherwise it is only wishful thinking.
