What's the point of having more jobs if you're only supposed to use certain ones for certain things? That's complexity for the sake of complexity.

Jobs.
An extra tank and healer and maybe that will improve queue times. And maybe that way my 'fake friends' would stop using me just for fast queues as I'm PLD.
Make BLM, DRK, etc great again too. All jobs should be equal.
I don't blame the players but I blame SE for Job discrimination.
New job, race i would not be opposed to
I concur - Get rid of the trinity.
What you are describing here is the very point of the roles - You're only supposed to use tanks for tanking, healers for healing and, well... anyone can DPS. But you're supposed to use DPS for DPS. Switching roles around isn't even "viable", let alone competitive. Even within those roles, they made sub-nichés like ranged support to further make you use only certain jobs for certain things.
The game makes heavy use of nichés and sub-nichés in order to try and avoid balancing. Healers only compete with other healers, not DPS, so you don't need to bother balancing them. Monks don't compete for the spot of Refresh-Dispenser, only BRD and MCH do. It only seems consequent to take that approach even further.
New race if and only if they shake up the current formula. Petite and frail looking males and powerful and strong females. For males the only "light" builds are elezen and lalafell, but for burly looking females we only have female roes and highlanders to an extant. I'm not asking for butchy females. Just something between female highlander and roe for the gals and something more akin to female hyer/miq'ote for the males.
Jobs are always welcome though!
No new job.
No new race.
More options/costumization for existing ones (both jobs and races).
Especially it take some time to level 14 + 8 classes to max, so I would like to have more (effective) ways to level DoW-classes.

Race jobs are fun but im so bored of all the current races
Because you might not give a damn about what is the absolute best for a given role cause you are not a competitive PVP-et and/or savage raider.
I love my ninja to death but I switched to red mage in a heartbeat cause it looks cool, is fun to play and has a superb job story. Even counting the extra heal and raise, red mage brings a lot less to a PVE group while ninja is a master of utility. Do I give a damn? Nope. I don't intend to be a burden for anyone, but for me enjoyment is the most important factor. As long as nobody pays me for it I won't treat the game as a job.
You can play every job on one character, therefore it's no problem? Are you daft? Even the developers themselves disagree with you. This is why classes are constantly nerfed and buffed. They would not feel the need to make adjustments if they could simply hand-wave it away with "oh you can play any job/class/role on one character anyway, just switch to the objectively better one in the situation you're playing if it's really an issue."
Let's also not ignore the fact that different jobs and roles use different gear, so you can't exactly switch whenever you want unless you've somehow been gearing out both or more of those classes, but with limited tomestones + limited drops and/or tokens, that's highly unlikely until far later in a patch's life cycle. I said all playstyles, not just expert roulette or casual stuff, and switching willy-nilly is only possible at the most casual level.
You can try to spin it any way you want, but the jobs just aren't properly balanced. No amount of excuses or constant hand waving will change this. There would be no need to buff or nerf classes otherwise.
