    That is not unique lol, that is just different outside skins. Right now Lancers are in demand on Ifrit because of their ability to hit at longer range, if they makes everyone has the same range as Lancer but giving it different naming, I see no point in that.

    That is certainly unique aesthetics wise. You can belittle it as much as you want, but it's still a form of uniqueness just like any other.

    And as far as the "point" of it goes, no Job/class will ever be excluded from any content.
