    Yes, going in Savage expect people to be good or at least to aim for improvement. Casuals wanting to stay casual shouldn't get there.

    As I said, it's only a problem if they are a burden in a meaningful way.

    I meant if they are bringing enough dps for real, why should they improve overall? That's all I'm saying. Don't force people to be even better when they are good enough and don't want to get into more than what they did. Being above what's needed is already good. No need to be a god.

    As has been said multiple times by posters who have been in Eorzea for a couple years, literally nobody here in this thread is advocating that players, whether they be DPS, healer, or tank, be a god at this game. But I cannot for the life of me understand why, if casuals go into any high-end duty content, they won't look for areas of improvement? Why stay mediocre and drag on a fight (and believe me, a mediocre player does make a difference...that initial month against O1S when you didn't outgear him like we can now, a lot of groups needed every DPS they could squeeze out to avoid hitting enrage at 5%).
