Ilvl restrictions for leveling dungeons?

I feel like some leveling dungeons definitely need ilvl requirements.

Specifically:
Dusk Vigil
The Vault
Sirensong Sea
Bardam’s Mettle/Doma Castle

I feel like those four(five) are the “turning points” when it comes to leveling dungeons—i.e., when things either start to actually hurt (The Vault, Bardam’s Mettle/Doma Castle), and the beginning of a new expansion, where there will be a vast discrepancy in gear ilvls for players that were not playing during the in-between patches (going from i50 at the end of ARR to i130 by 2.55, i115 at the beginning of HW to i270 in 3.55, and i255 to the current i340 in 4.1–and still going up!).

I’d propose the following minimum ilvls for each:
Dusk Vigil: i115 (level 50 HW white gear)
The Vault: i139 (level 56 white gear)
Sirensong Sea: i255 (level 60 SB white gear)
Bardam’s Mettle: i273 (level 64 white gear)
Doma Castle: i279 (level 66 white gear)

I would also be tempted to propose a minimum ilvl requirement for the first “endgame” dungeon (example: ARF, Ala Mhigo), specifically if the game continues to provide gear sets for players a la AF gear (like how SB gave out i290 gear for the level 70 job quest). Maybe make it slightly lower, but that could pose issues for HW’s ARF specifically, since the HW AF gear is locked behind Centurio Seals, and I am not sure if they have included an equivalent for completing the level 60 job quest, or if it’s still the same as it was in HW—my alts aren’t there yet. ;-;

Not anymore, you get the gear set with the ilvl 200 stuff, though i think it was only left side...

and id say more important would be an avarage gear level or ppl just overgear with cheap rings etc... IE Bardam with 268 but no part below 255 or smt like that.

They could always make it left-side requirements to avoid the over-gearing with cheap rings, like the Level 5 MSQ that requires you to equip item level 5 gear in your head piece, body, hands, legs, and feet slots. Accessories are still kind of important for main stats/HP (especially for tanks since, well, VIT), but probably slightly less so than left side.

yeah. I just discovered that today when I brought NIN up to lvl 60.
