I use my PVP warhorse every chance I get
Think of all those PvP matches you put yourself through to get some dumb horse you don't even use. Think about all those farm parties you joined for a chance to get a stupid bird... that you don't even use. Or the MGP you saved up for over a year to get a flying wolf... which YOU DON'T EVEN USE!
not sure why you are so salty Blue, I'd quite like the Carby mount as it cute although I'd be more interested in the gear as the game as really cut back on the in-game glamours and I'd like a new mage glamour. I don't fully get your point I like to have things to do in game and having some interesting to aim for is a nice focus. I've got lots mounts I really use but it's nice to have them to mix things up also I'd probably have used Carby a lot as it looks really cute.
In a way, I kind of am salty, but for more complicated reasons. I'm definitely not salty about the new Carbuncle mount, but I wish people would stop complaining about it. My point is that it's pointless. People complain about having to pay for the mount, when the reality is that, were they to get it:
1. They most likely won't use it as much as they think. With some probably even forgetting that they got it after a single week. I've seen this happen with people who farmed the PvP horse and the Phoenix mount.
2. A lot of people are going to have it. Even if you ARE planning to use it all the time, wouldn't it feel kinda lame being in the same mount as everyone else? Wouldn't you rather be original? This is why I used Ixion as an example earlier.
3. This game doesn't have any worthwhile open-world content, and you can't use mounts in cities. Ask yourself if it's really worth getting a mount you will probably only ever use inside housing maps. lol
As for the main reason I'm salty, read my earlier post when I compared this game to GW2. I'm salty because we could be getting a lot more, but we don't.
I think you missing the point. Its not about how much people use items...im pretty sure that no one uses EVERY mount they get all the time. The point is that SE decided they wanted more money and they are making you pay extra for it. Its not enough to pay your sub, or for the game or for SPACE TO PUT YOUR IN-GAME ITEMS (no one ever address that we pay for space in a sub game) but now they are putting exclusive emotes, outfits, mounts and housing items in the cashshop. Fact is I dont like this mount at all..the point is people shouldn't have to come out of pocket this much for a game that ask for a montly sub from millions of players.
In theory I get what you are saying, however a lot of what is made for the cash shop wouldn't even have been developed. These are extras.I think you missing the point. But what would the guy they're paying to make it be working on if cash shop items weren't occupying his time? Guess we'll never know.
The amount of playable content being added per patch has shrunk over time.

I agree with you. So now what you are saying is that you are ok with SE making items to sell to you when you already pay a sub? Why am I paying a sub when they could just live off the money in the cashshop then? If thats how they want to monetize it. When I started playing this game there were no emotes or mounts in the cashshop...there were outfit but only event ones. Not this is slowing looking like a ftp cashshop.
