I mean right now with technology there's nothing you can do to prevent clipping. Especially in online games atm. What workaround would you prefer they use?

The one where they use foresight for sets. As I've stated before, they can't take into account every clipping issue. But if they're going to design sets, they can work within the confines of it to make it work, which is a much more realistic approach.
As an example, the hailstorm cane has been created at an angle that if you were to equip it to the AF3 whm set, it still clips but not as bad as the AF3 cane. They're not even part of the same set so not only that is acceptable to me but it also tells me that if they wanted to adjust the cane or make modifications to it, they could.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

Technologically it's feasible. Be it cloth physics that move for solid objects or go back to 1.0 style gear where everything was properly fitted instead of scaled.
They won't do it because of the costs though.

Yes we have it, but with an MMO, it's unfeasible to use that technology currently. Game wouldn't run great basically.
