FFXI's style lock disables if you try to switch to a Job that can't use the gear you've glamoured though (so, no cross classing WHM AF for glamour as a BLM for instance) so it's no real different to what we have here (although as it's not kept on armour but is a literal glamour you set on yourself it is superior to the FFXIV version in that regard).
That's not true. You can glamour any gear as long as you can equip it normally on the job in question*. Here are some examples.FFXI's style lock disables if you try to switch to a Job that can't use the gear you've glamoured though (so, no cross classing WHM AF for glamour as a BLM for instance) so it's no real different to what we have here (although as it's not kept on armour but is a literal glamour you set on yourself it is superior to the FFXIV version in that regard).
Combining COR, THF, GEO, and WHM AF all in one outfit:
WHM AF on my level 1 PLD
WHM AF on my THF
*So for exmample, if you want to use a level 75 WHM body piece in your glamour, you just have to make sure you have your WHM at level 75. Once that requirement is met, you can slap that item into any glamour set, for any job, at any level.
