I know, right? Blizzard already tried the storage fix with peoples gear with the Void Storage. Then immediately abandoned it for the "transmog tab". I guess they really are going through the Warcraft motions, even replicating the obvious mistakes and missteps.

I'm gonna need more Sigmascape details ASAP! Also, hey late January release, nice

Well then I have no idea what I am doing wrong because style lock deactivates every single time I change Jobs, and especially if I switch to a Job that cannot wear the gear currently glamoured (I confirmed this the other day in FFXI when I switched from RDM to WAR, my glamour was RDM AF and style lock deactivated as soon as I changed to WAR, WAR was a much higher level than RDM though.) So unless there is something else that I am missing I'm sorry I do not believe what you are saying is true.
Either way, this is not really the place to discuss this as this is about FFXIV so I'm sorry for derailing this thread. Back to topic!![]()
lol...but...I posted screenshots? Did you reselect your glam? When you switch jobs it will deactivate.
In regards to XIV's glamour update, i'm setting my expectations low. At this point I'm just looking forward to freeing up some retainer space. Anything else above that, that actually functions, will just be an added bonus :X

I think it's a /lockstyleset <set number> macro thing. You make a macro that has the (locked) style you want and then you use that macro to be the WAR in RDM's clothing. Is that what you did, Skivvy?
Anyway, on topic, I'm mostly curious about Sigmascape and Eureka info. Anything else is just a bonus to me.
I do kinda hope that Crafter exclusive gear can be glamoured onto combat jobs. Certain pieces look very nice and could look great on certain jobs (ALC AF1 on SCH, for example). Would even finally get my retainers to sell the pieces they've been coming back with in Ventures.

Ah, I see! I had a feeling it might have been some obscure macro command, typical FFXI.I think it's a /lockstyleset <set number> macro thing. You make a macro that has the (locked) style you want and then you use that macro to be the WAR in RDM's clothing. Is that what you did, Skivvy?

And to Skivvy, I'm sorry if it seemed like I was being argumentative, I just couldn't understand what I was doing wrong comparing my own experiences in FFXI's glamour system with your screenshots. As usual, a cooler head prevails.
Either way, thank you both for clarifying that.
As for FFXIV (and to a lesser extent, FFXI), I'm intrigued more about the new story, especially the revelation Tenzen is a part of it (albeit part of the 'Four Lords' trials backstory - as I mentioned in the Lore forum I'll eat my Curtana if he has a katana with a Primal inside.).

I wonder if there's any significance to the patch artwork showing Omega characters instead of MSQ. Maybe the MSQ has some significant developments that would be too spoilery to tease, or maybe this tier of Omega is just especially significant for some reason that it deserved highlighting more.

So thank you so much for that clarification Nestama.
