Much to do?
MSQ that will last couple days.
New Omega raid that will most likely be cleared the first week
Spam roulettes like we've done the past 4 years?
We, who don't raid savage are obviously not allowed to get relics, according to some people![]()

I saw it comming, we hardly got any information about. Personaly, I thought it was going to be delayed untill 4.3, but I guess 4.25 means that its comming.
I've noticed a pattern, actually. Much of recent content seems to be focused on things that help streaming or streamers. Or content creators in general. I wonder if they think they can get more subs if they make streamer-friendly content as free advertising. Bard perform and youtube videos, ultimate coil and twitch/nico, now the replay utility, a focus on comeptitive pvp.
Nope. Personally, I'm planning to skip it all together once they mentioned Relic Gear and Weapons.
And I am not against it per se. I just wish that we would get more casual and/or midcore content that last longer than one patch before we get something like that. Honestly I am quite thankful that I like crafting and gathering quite enough so I still have things to do (and can catch up to some lets plays at the same time) but there is no fighting content that interested me and I really hoped for Eureka to get that interest back only for it to be pushed back again..welp time to gather and craft even more. x)I've noticed a pattern, actually. Unless you're a roleplayer or simply have very little time to play the game, I have to disagree. 4.1 felt somewhat barren in terms of content.
Rabanastre
Skalla
Ultimate
Perform
Rival Wing
Of those five pieces of content, three cater towards incredibly small niche audiences, albeit Rival Wings can at least be argued it's growing the PvP scene.
I made this same argument prior to Ultimate's release. Alas, if only 0.02% of the playerbase can even clear, it's not worth the time unless they spent very little actually piecing it together. If they came out and said, Ultimate cost us a second dungeon, I doubt many would care. The issue people have isn't necessarily ultimate, but the fact the overwhelming majority of players had very little to do throughout 4.1. Appealing to raiders is nice and all, but I cannot fault the more casual playerbase for being upset. And I'm progging Ultimate.

A lack of content in 4.1 had nothing to do with ultimate and everything to do with Square delaying everything. Heck, even Ultimate was delayed as was Rival Wings. Every mention of Ultimate and PvP in this thread reeks of jealousy. A sort of "stuff I wanted in this patch didn't come out, so how dare these people get their thing?" tone.
They need to do something different other then having content get stale for a week and the only people rerun it is because of weekly caps, that is why there is so much fall off after a patch is released.I love this game, i really do but I can't find any reason to even login anymore. I have leveled almost every to 70 (got like 3 or 4 classes left and it just meh), I don't raid.
All i login every other day is just send out my airships. I would probably cancel my sub if I could but i have like 5 months of prepaid sub..
Eureka was something that could motivate me to login again daily but seeing it likely delayed to late feb is very disappointing.
For me being disappointed for the delay I could care less as the game does need fixing on 2-4 year problems, but they are not even doing that well so I have no idea.
No it isn't, it is just making things worse. People hate the balance issues even more to healers, and frontlines is filled with bots. No one even queues for 8v8 or 4v4 training anymore. The only reason PvP saw a hike in activity was from gero and SB release because that was the only way to exp for the first week or so. Now that people have stuff leveled, it is dying off more and more and being more and more like it was before gero happened. The exp nerf did not help matters.

This sums up the root of all the dissatisfaction I'd say. They need to do something different other then having content get stale for a week and the only people rerun it is because of weekly caps, that is why there is so much fall off after a patch is released.
