I think we're ignoring the biggest aspect of sch. That being Lilly. Her healing is very poor imo. I think what we really need to focus on is a faerie rework if the healing 'pet' class is to survive.

Fairy balance is tricky because she is part of a team. You can't just say her healing is poor without looking at how Lilly's abilities mesh with the scholar's.

Would players be happy with their job if they healed and shielded for less in exchange for a stronger fairy? It's a tough question. The only thing for sure is fairy healing will not become so powerful that a scholar could dps 100% of time.

Thinking about the situation objectively, it is more likely Selene will be reworked because the default pet choice is always Eos. Selene must bring something to the party which will make the choice regarding which pet to bring meaningful.
