If we removed something every time someone didn't like something in game, this game would be very dull, you would essentially have a in game chatroom and nothing more.

I agree completely. I came back to the game excited to be apart of the active world that this game was before I left. I've found a boring instance grind and an empty world. There are other sweet things about the game, and while fates weren't perfect, they brought a sense of community to the vast, beautiful areas.
At level, fates require a good bit of effort to clear (unless you are in a party), but they offer far too little by way of XP and rewards to appeal to many people.
They did try to change this in SB but the problem is, once you have the reward from the special fates, there is little point in going back and doing them again.
OP - Rather than asking for content to be removed, maybe look at ways the devs might make fates more appealing.

NO~!
But seriously no. It beats waiting for crazy queue times.
POTD is worse.
Every single run is going as fast as possible to the exit while ignoring all the other stuff they put into it, like the hoard, leveling up aether weapons, and even gathering or using pomanders. Most people just repeat floor 55, because it's the easiest of the floors to do with the strongest aetherpool rating next to difficulty. I honestly had more fun doing FATES, because at least there's some variety to them.
you can solo POTD (at least up to 100), you can do all of the pomanders, treasures yourself. You don't need to jump into a mindless party on speed unless you're only there for exp.
sadly, the exp for fates (and sidequests) is pathetic these days. That's why people aren't doing them.
It doesn't need to be removed (in fact, it's probably the best additional content I've seen, and it's longevity speaks to that)
If you don't like POTD, don't do it. Problem solved.
It is nice that you had soooo much fun with FATES but remember that not everyone does and don't forget that FATE rushing is not different from PotD because both are just braindead stuff to do.POTD is worse.

Why not start a Linkshell for fate hoping? Rather than remove content for others, why not find like minded individuals who would love to do the fates with you? I bet people exist like that.

We’re all advocating for the type of game we want to see. Mine just happens to clash with yours. I like a story driven game, where people can come together as a community, and defeat challenges based on a PVE format. I want to work together. [snip] You’re not gonna like what I say, but I’m gonna say it regardless because I want Square Enix to hear the other side.
I used to enjoy a bit of FATE grinding in HS when I started... In SB, however, it's a joke. Only worth it ro do
The challenge log stuff. (Gah, mobile not having edit)
