Remove PotD

.....or have this function do something else rather than provide experiance. It’s so very sad to see these vast, open, and beautifully designed areas empty. Leave levelling to dungeons or (moreso.....FATEs). Give a reason for people to be in an older area. Seems like a waste of our well paid sub fee that goes into areas that take countless hours and possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars to design, but then is abandoned. I feel bad for the people whose job it is to design works of art that make this world, only to then have it abandoned. (Not to mention new players who get in game and find the worlds deserted. Anyway, be rid of potd or change it or do something to bring people back to these areas.

POTD is worse.

Every single run is going as fast as possible to the exit while ignoring all the other stuff they put into it, like the hoard, leveling up aether weapons, and even gathering or using pomanders. Most people just repeat floor 55, because it's the easiest of the floors to do with the strongest aetherpool rating next to difficulty. I honestly had more fun doing FATES, because at least there's some variety to them.

It is nice that you had soooo much fun with FATES but remember that not everyone does and don't forget that FATE rushing is not different from PotD because both are just braindead stuff to do.

Potd was actually a refreshing new way to level alt classes when it was implemented, so no I for one don't miss fate train parties from 2.0.

SE should implement more multi-part FATEs with a powerful boss to defeat at the end of them, with the fate chain giving good exp. Make it a better use of their time than running PotD. It is a shame to see such a beautifully designed world lying empty while everyone spams PotD to level 50.

I find it funny that people keep saying the worlds empty and no ones doing fates...yet I see people doing fates....granted its not a crowd...but people still do them.
Be careful not to make foolish assumptions. Just because you don't do them..doesn't mean others don't.

Depends on server i guess. FATE's needs give more XP so ppl are wanting to do it.

I think even today most popular fate grind is still Coerthas Central Highlands even today.
