Prohibit the advertising of content sales via the cross-server PF

Content sales doesn't always mean RMT.

Unless they are cross world selling which the only way to pay is RMT.

These sellers aren't going to go away. Hence why I tell people to just ignore them. It's not that difficult to ignore them.

People shouldn't have to ignore it though, there's no reason why these people should get away with mis-listing stuff under Expert Roullete and Lakshmi EX, its abusing party finder, if they wanted to list their sales under no listing that would be fine I think a lot less people would complain about it. But intentionally mislisting stuff is just annoying and something the GMs should address, people have no right to be listed higher in PF just cause they want to make large amounts of gil.

Very obvious ways to get around the cross server yes its a large hassle but it is possible.

Player A sells Runs to player B. Player B pays a dummy account gil or items. Player A then sells items and gets straight gil and holds it on the dummy account on the server.

Now lets assume a third player wants to move to a server that has said dummy account on it, Player C can give gil to Player A then server transfer for whatever reason and get the gil from Players A dummy account. This isn't really Rmt it is trust trading and is a way to get around the issue..


Also yes Rmt could and usually is involved at some point but unless you have actual proof with ingame logs nothing will be done.

That doesn't work because the amount of gil you can transfer between servers is very limited, 10 mil per character and 5 mil per retainer, if these guys are charging 150 a mil per run like someone earlier said there's no practical way that would work.
