Eh, People rose the same complaint when WoW did the same thing, and you know what? It didn't actually happen like that. I can understand the prediction, but in actual practice, the economy stayed pretty much the same. The tryhards were still pushing ridiculous quantities of goods, only slightly easier. The tryhards competed against each other using the phone apps, while your average joe didn't really see much of a difference because your average joe couldn't compete with the tryhards anyways, with or without the phone app.

The only people really affected are the said tryhards, and if you're a tryhard, then get a phone and join the rest of them, or go from being a tryhard to an average joe.

"Casual Crafters" never could make it in this game, or any other game for that matter. If you really wanted to make good money, you had to put a lot of effort into it (kinda like RL, right?). If you weren't willing to put the effort in, to actually make money, then you simply didn't make a whole lot of money fast. But then, on the flipside, if you WERE willing to put effort in to make money through crafting, then you certainly weren't a "casual" crafter.

EDIT: I mean absolutely no offense by any terms used within this post, and none of the terms used here should be taken to mean anything derogatory. There's nothing wrong with being a casual, a tryhard, or an average joe. These are simply words used to describe groups of people and are not meant with any malice whatsoever.
