Probably the most frequent thing I end up saying to new tanks is that provoke is designed to take hate from someone if they pull it from you but does nothing if you are already at top of the enmity list. Sometimes they appreciate the explanation. Other times they essentially tell me to piss off. Then sometimes when they tell me to piss off someone else in the party looks at my search info and points out how many jobs I have at lv 70 and they stop spamming provoke without saying anything.

I've stopped saying anything 90% of the time, especially if they are keeping agro throughout the entire dungeon. Only when they lose agro constantly will I speak up about it causing issues. But usually, it's the lack of Overpower/Flash/Unleash that causes the loss of agro.
