Lets speak about Mentor's.

Mentoring in term of roles and classes is one thing, Mechanics that are needed is another. You forget one key thing, everyone pays a subscription and are allowed to play how they choose to. If it clashes, majority rules and just boot. Apparently common sense is dead with some players and even now most will ignore mechanics do to the difficulty being a joke. Now if the party wipes a person with common sense will speak out and people normally follow suit and do mechanics. Most of the time its competent mentors that do that. Now then are there troll mentors? Of course their are just like there are trolling sprouts and weeds. So what is the solution? You vote kick, and black list to prevent the system from pairing you with them. I am not against reporting poor mentors that give people who actually take the mentoring program seriously a bad name. All I'm saying is what most people consider to be a competent player and what most would consider experienced vs a player who thinks they know how to play.

That is the whole point of this thread. The competent mentors are rare and the mentors who can't even play one class properly are not rare. Most people became a mentor for the crown and the mount and not because they want to help other players. But we can discuss that for 10k+ pages and nothing will change. We need a better system where not everyone can become a mentor without a clue and a ranking system for mentors overall so that the mentors who are useless get their crown revoked.
