Why not instanced plots?

Curious on what others think on instanced plots and possibly those who have more than one plot to lose their others and chose one they want instead (in the end you would get more garden plots to use as well as long as you had the level and quest requirements on the other characters.

Ok my thoughts are pretty well known and a lot of people give me flack for it but meh.
If they offerd instance housing for alts and only 1 main could keep a house in a ward that be fine as long as it was the same size and set up.i dont want a 1 room appartment.

I come from a RP stand point my houses are 3 different homes each character has its own style and decor. Ive own 3 houses for over a year wile 100's sat free up till 3 months ago (or when ever it was) till the free transfer system kicked in and all plots were sold.......but for over a year no one hated me, well lest for owning 3 houses lol...

now i got people from the forums making lvl1's alts sending me tells talking crap about my forum post. 4 times so far..shout out to the 1 person who made a alt and sat and talked with me for 20 agreeing there has to be a better solution then taking away houses from people who did nothing wrong

what im against is taken away no matter what any thinks of the rule houses from people who did nothing wrong they followed the rules put in front of them plain and simple. im sorry SE hasn't added enough houses but thats on them. But because SE has did this free transfer causing this problem now on every server and who thought the grass was greener didn't get houses and up in arms..when its been the same for 3 years..............

I'd love to know the number of new people to the forums since the shiro nightmare

That just fricking sad. Cause you done nothing wrong (i also have multible houses between my own FC + personal houses) I havn't broken any rules either.

But that it ends up in harassment is just sad.

Again, I get the point of not taking away house, and I am not completely against nor would I completely mind you being grandfathered in. I am not mad at you more so SE. The current design, and intent of the community idea of housing doesn’t make much sense, again SEs fault.

If there is anything I would have against you would be the lack of sharing, much like taking all the food at the dinner table. Though there is more fault on SE for just putting out scraps. Still I can’t I don’t have any frustration with anyone who owns more than one house. (FC house aside)

What I am looking for are ways moving forward that can help those who want more houses, though given SE’s design and prior actions I doubt they’ll overhaul it that much. If they do especially with Instanced Housing or Dynamic wards being added with the idea of Instanced plots, much less frustration. I like the idea of the instanced housing as it would allow the same account to have 4,5,6 houses for your alts but leave open SE to better monetize their servers.

As to breaking rules, I won’t say you have with the rules as they stand. Still things need to change on the housing front drastically not just 1 or 2 more wards per area. At this it just sounds like SE is no more than politician over promising and under delivering in the housing area.

So in the end I have my intention is not to harass you rather come up with ideas to see if SE will listen (they likely won’t) to get a better housing situation at all.

Everyone on the server who wanted a house had a house.i took from no one for a year............till people decided they no longer wanted to be on a crowded server and left theres for mine..i get there are high n med pop servers that had house problems.Mine how ever did not. So now that people have made there personal chose of there tired of there crowded server im going here.........all of a sudden i took food from them?? For what ive owned for a year before they got there ..........

I strongly beleive anyone (unless you started after the Shiro launch) has had a fair chance to own a house. Se put in a option to transfer servers....untill free transfers. if you wanted a house, there was plenty of servers with houses. it came down to a personal choice. 1 stay where no houses are or 2 pay and move to where houses are..

Perhaps not the best analogy, just trying to express some feelings including what it looks like others feel. None the less it was about what you and others with multiple have now to what people want now and how one may view it without thinking/knowing how you got them.

While in truth, as you stated in the past I could have moved if I was playing and got a house. (I haven’t played much due to work, a collapsed lung and a lot of other medical fun). Still would like to hear more from other multiple house owners to what they feel can be done to get more people in houses. Perhaps have an alliance raid SE HQ to make them do it.

By now, no deco at all, a locked up house and no greeting shows me that the owners are most likely "house flippers". Those are the people you should take pause with along with SE for their poor housing system.

I only have 1x medium house in the beds here and had zero inclination to attempt Shiro when it opened. As for the L-1 harasser(s), SE can see who made the alt and their text to you so report them and move on.

Now now let's not jump to conclusions. Just because nobody put up a greeting (I havn't on my personal or FC house cause idgaf) and just cause someone havnt decorated the yard don't mean its decorated on the inside, yeah?

Also they could locked off for guest (i have also except for FC house for workshop assistance) but jumping the gun and assume everyone is a flipper cause they not up to your decoration standard is pure silly.

Suggesting if people really wanted a house they would transfer servers is unreasonable. Its also contrary to why they insist on keeping non-instanced houses. "Want a house in the persistent, community encouraging wards? abandon your community to join a different one." Before Kugane I couldn't find a single empty plot in any town checking multiple times daily. I specifically roled on that server to be with friends and its not unreasonable to also want a house.

If they aren't going to start instancing housing then any additional wards should be restricted to 1 house per server, per account. Or to put it another way, can only be purchased by 'homeless' accounts on that server. It keeps the current systems intact except for undesirable parts such has a extremely short supply and the ability to flip houses in the new areas. There is absolutely no reason to reject it unless someone is being a disingenuous sadist or wants a much better solution and refuses to settle.
