Based on the whiplash of sorts other games have given their players through big changes to systems between expansions, I can't say I blame them.

Doing that can also set a precedent and expectation (and if you're big enough, that precedent will - according to players - extend beyond just the game that does it) to make big changes with every expansion, even when that means changing a really good or well-received system.

I do feel like the past alliance raids are way too easy and boring. Bosses takes less then 2 min to kill and raid takes about less than 10 min to complete. I think they should up the difficulty because the raid roulette is starting to feel like a chore.

See, I kind of feel the opposite. 10 minutes and easy fights isn't a chore. It's relaxing. I'm not against raids being made difficult for those who want it, but I'm perfectly fine with Roulettes taking little time and effort.

2.0 was made when the game wasn't live and they didn't have to create updates and make 2.0 at the same time. 3.0 and 4.0 was made while the 2.x and 3.x updates were getting made at the same time. the actual Relic quest is the quest that started in the patches, the 2.x series and 3.x series of those quests are basically the same.

I meant hunts as in B, A, S Rank mobs, they didn't launch with 2.0 but both expansions launched with those out of the box. fyi there's a super FATE in Azys Lla nobody does that's on the same level as Coeurlregina, we didn't lose one the rewards just really suck.

this is the biggest problem with people like you. it's the worse of middle management mentalities in any business. having an idea is not the same as doing the work. having the core idea is nice, but someone had to make Uznair and the Hidden Canals. someone is currently developing the SB version of PotD, it doesn't just magically appear because the idea is there. if you want these recreated / expanded upon and you expect a third level of new stuff on top of that something has to give (this time we got Ultimate Savage, Squadron AI). it's only one Hard mode dungeon every odd patch, even patches we're still supposed to get two.
    Ad hominem aside...

The first step of HW relic was tied to fates. Not the HM trials like the ARR one which is funner... albeit brutal from what I heard (Titan HM).

Uznair is a reskin of Aquapolis with the same music. The new Deep Dungeon will probably be a reskin of PotD. The coding for the fundamental way the content works is there. All they need to do is update the enemies and visuals to match the theme of the area. No it doesn't magically appear and nobody can be stupid enough to claim that but if you think SE isn't standardizing some of the assets from the HW counterparts in order to facilitate the process of developing further map dungeons and Deep Dungeons in the future.

I'm not trying to be snarky, I'm sincere. This is an older complaint, that things in this game never change, and sometimes, that can be daunting. Yoshi P himself said if the game is getting stale, don't be afraid to walk away from it for a while. I've done that myself a couple of times and it helps. A 1-2 month break often lets me come back feeling refreshed and happy to be playing again.

But what would you suggest Square do to, 'Shake up their core content and keep it from being Quickly Spent?'
I wouldn't know, which is why I'm asking the question and seeing if other people can bring ideas upor hopefully the devs read this. I've done the break thing. For a year in fact b/c of PC issues and I never got back into the game like I was back in 3.1 when I left. A more busy life aside, I can't even bother to play sometimes because it feels as if nothing changed. I'm actually typing this as my toon is standing around in Gridania to start the All Saint's Eve quest. Next I'm going to go for a smoke then keep reading this thread... shit post on Facebook and Twitter a little and probably start the event quest in which case I'll log off and do some work or level up my alt. Some ideas I've heard were 8 man dungeons with light progression you can do for gear which I thought about even
before I left this game on break. I'm not going to lie that MOBA game sounds really cool and I hope it takes off better then LoV did. I hope the Exploratory mission becomes a success because it sounds like a cool concept and I hope PvP takes off harder then it does now. Maybe they can take the time to try some thing new with the one dungeon they'll give us like alternate pathways that decide what boss you'll face at the end or change your party's attributes meaning you have to approach it differently each time. That's just an idea of mine since you asked for it. But taking another break would mean permanent break from the game for me at this point and I really want to wait it out a bit before I decide to do that... plus I have like a hundred and fifty days left on my sub... so yeah.

As good as this part sounds, it is very very unlikely to ever work. Because two different bosses means one will be slightly easier than the other (even if by only 0.01%), so someone will come up with some math on reddit saying that A is easier than B and everyone will choose to go A and you will get kicked to even mention trying B. Only way I can see it work is if both ways have the exact same fight but with a different them, like one fire boss or one ice boss, but they do the exact same damage (fire boss does fire wind while ice boss does ice wind). And even like people might complain that it's just a reskin and not worth it, maybe.

1.0's dungeons had branching paths with different bosses.
The harder bosses gave better rewards. It worked pretty well.

Different pathways would not work too well IMO, it would just cause more bickering. Just like how in the old dungeons people skip the siderooms/chests and just go to the end as fast as possible. If it ends up an expert people will find the easiest/fastest way and just do that since the drops in there are usually junk unless glamour. People will get into arguments because 1 guy wants to do boss D, 1 guy wants to do C, other two just want to finish and blah blah. People dropping out after only that one boss they need, etc.

I mean I guess you could just PF it to do a certain boss but.. I dunno doesn't seem like it would work too well in a DF situation and it would just lead to more headaches.
