OP doesn't want to admit they're a hoarder. You're what statisticians call an outlier, an extreme case of somebody who buys 6 retainers and still needs a ton of space. Your extreme hoarding, as well as anyone else, isn't going to justify the cost of reorganizing the entire inventory system just because you can't manage your inventory. The only thing I can agree with is either implement a WoWesque transmog system or let us store Mogstation and special deal items in the Armoire which is really underutilized at the moment.

I manage my inventory just fine, have you ever did crafting favors or crafted the top end things? I know you couldn't since 4.0 + since your not 70 in anything crafting related. Having 2 battle classes at 70 does not give you insight on how much inventory this game demands. Do you know what it is like needing 2-4 trades to do one crafting favor? or craft 1-3 hours at a time trying to HQ top end materials for top end products? Did you even know the current meta is 97 ish steps? Do you even know why crafting takes so much inventory because of the muti-step process?

Once again using the lodestone as a weapon I see. You know with how often you are making threads just to complain about something I have to wonder if you really even enjoy this game or are just causing trouble for the sake of causing trouble. You claim people are attacking you and then you go out of your way to be aggressive to anyone who disagrees with you... Like the example above. Either stop using the lodestone as a weapon or post your legit lodestone and not just screenshots of your supposed levels.

To the actual topic at hand, the inventory system works well enough for what it is. You have two free retainers to work with and if they're full on glamour how is that SE's issue, when they are 175 slots. Thats more than enough room for rarer items for crafting, whatever glamour items you truly wish to keep and the like. Would more inventory be nice? Sure, it would be, however they already said they will look into it further and add more based off what they find. Give them time, this expansion is still relatively fresh.

OP did you really fill up 6 retainers?

I have only three retainers and while I am quite full I am still managing...I have all jobs 60+ (9 of them are at 70 and still working on the rest), all crafters and gatherers at 70 as well.

I honestly don't know how you can have double the space that I have and still run out.

I mean I have to do some spring cleaning once in awhile and get rid of things I find I probably don't need to keep, but I have managed with 2-3 retainers since launch.

I was an omnicrafter in 3.x and never needed more then two retainers. I'd gather and craft everything myself. Also if you're going to make an argument about inventory the number of steps in a craft is irrelevant. You only need at most 5 finished ingredients, maybe 7 per craft and if you're turning in 2 or 5 finished products at a time you still don't need 8 retainers worth of materials if you manage right. If you're going to use my Lodestone against me don't leave an opening for counterattack, Princess.

Even if SE were to double our inventory tomorrow, I'm fairly certain that most of the people who whine about lack of space will simply fill that up with more junk and come back to whine some more. I craft, I gather, and I'm in the gradual process of leveling all of my combat classes. I have four retainers and zero issues with inventory because I do monthly purges and get rid of stuff that I can easily reobtain should I want it.

This type of thinking gets hard to defend when you have played games that have all-inclusive material banks and a glamour log. Why should people have to purge / refarm and rent additional retainers just to cope?. Stop making excuses for the game’s shortcomings.
