Quit trying to turn FFXIV into Wow, peeps

FFXIV is basically designed after WoW, there is no denying it. Yes, it does have its own identity, but if you think they didn't take game design queues from WoW you're dead wrong and you'd be daft not to see that.

Anyways, FFXIV should take other systems from other MMOs not just WoW and add their own twist to it. Nothing is wrong with taking other games ideas and iterating then in a different way. Hell, why do you think WoW is such a major success?

Which has nothing to do with the topic, since OP is hating on features of modern WoW for no other reason than "because it's WoW". No one is calling WoW the most original game, all modern MMOs copied another MMO in some way, even XI.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, slow your role there, that is a pretty huge jump from what I originally said. Now you're just putting words where there are none and changing the tone of what I originally said. What I am hating on, as you so adequately put it, is the comparisons that because WoW did it great, FFXIV should absolutely do it. That is what I am hating on, friend. And I believe I did say that I don't mind the occasional comparison that doesn't come in the form of the complaint.
