Add phases are the bane of this system. But going in as a Scholar, it gives a chuckle. It's pretty much my Squad and Eos.

I don't know about that. I entered AV on an appropriately feared level 47 DRK last night and in the first pull had the healer gripe at me for not using a cool down in a three mob pull. Figured it wasn't worth fighting over and cycled cooldowns on tiny pulls from then on. Still ended up dying once because healer was too focused on dps.
It's not necessarily smooth, but you can make the AI target certain enemies with the engage command on a target. I also notice that the command npcs focus on the tanks target most of the time unless you cycle engage.
I imagine it was made like this so the healer isn't on one side of arena while the DPS is on the other. Be crappy if you were a tank and a healer and dps go off and leave you on brink of death.
My fix?
Gambits:
Presets that let you tailor AI and priorities.
Cure ally at 70%
AoE in X scenario
Refined Commands:
Spread- Allies AoE
Divide and Conquer- Allies focus on X enemy by given priority
Formations:
Cross- Tank in front, dps on rear or flank, healer behind
Space- Allies stay at distance from enemy
Alot of it would be done pre-battle or pre-dungeon via AI priorities or it could messy micromanaging everything being there is no pause like feature in dungeons.

Yoshi plays a BLM. I wouldn't trust him.
Also, you don't need to use any skills on your hotbar. You can autoattack your way through most of the game. I've done it as a joke with friends and it only takes a little longer in dungeons. Doesn't mean it's a good thing to be doing.

Hmm, random dungeon with random sqads from other players ^^
Anyone know how to get the work out emotes like Squats? I'm pretty sure there locked behind this and I need to know when and how to get them
Stone Vigil,last boss.
The boss faced party and cleaved to both healer and ranged to death.
Also THM rotations though...
They used blizzard 2 ....
Honestly, I'm just tired of that whole shebang. Healer should do this, healer should do that, healer should not do this, etc.
Its the job that gets even more flak than the tank.
At this point, as long as my hp doesn't drop to 0, I don't care anymore. 90% of my DF runs have healers doing dps and heals. If I happen to stumble upon that one healer who wants to overheal, I'm not gonna lose any sleep.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
My experience, running Braflox as AST, with MRD, ACN, and ARC:
Did single pulls to test the waters, and experienced no problems, other than some loose aggro and no AoE dodging.
Far as I could tell, DPS were doing their own AoE attacks, mobs died pretty fast.
Maybe due to my use of Engage, but squad wasn't very good at burning down adds (particularly the bubble from Hellbender boss). Much better with the Pelican adds, but might be due to AoE grouping. This might all come down to properly utilizing the commands, though. Which, can be done, but feels awkward if you're just trying to run like normal. At least they're beefy enough that you can step back a moment and issue orders as needed.
Group needed minimal healing (although I'm not familiar with how much might normally be needed). The ACN even supplemented with their own heals.
Biggest hitch of the whole run was Aiatar's toxic vomit. Pretty sure he doesn't even recognize the NPCs to target with that, so it hit me every time (might be coincidence), but this also meant he didn't need moved out of puddles at all (not sure if NPCs would've done so had that come up).
Overall, a pleasant experience. Good bit of practice with a job I'm not comfortable with (but determined to level anyway). Not sure if squadron even benefits from most AST cards, but it gave a good opportunity to learn some priorities and what works for me. Hope to see more dungeons added quickly.
