it's just like doing those dungeons without a roulette bonus. i got under 250k doing WP on Lv 62 DRG.
the system itself is okay but the rewards is pretty pitiful. at least give us like a Leveling Roulette XP bonus once a week for each one.
me too! I want to learn how to tank properly in this game but not a fan of being yelled at or looking stupid...
I did a run as MNK with a MRD, ARC, and CNJ team into Halatali. I had a good time. I was impressed by the Ai. The tank Ai seemed a little wonky, but I didn't expect player level skill and reaction.
I look forward to SE expanding this content.
It's going to be fun enough to make me want more of it. Not being in a group of other people yelling at me to OMG HURRY UP or OMG GET GUD or whatever while I learn my skills will give me more confidence.
Not everybody likes getting yelled at.
Do or do not, there is no try.
Same thing happened to me during the final boss, although I was the tank. I just disengaged them once the fire puddle appeared, commanded them to take out any Noxious that spawned (disengaging after it died), then handled the smaller adds myself. Fortunately no one died, but damn did they get close to it.I love the idea, but it's implementation is rather lacking tbh. Just did a run of Halitali as a trial and while the most part was it was fairly simple, the boss was a mess. Even though I kept commanding my squad to get out of the fire and attack other mobs, they insisted on staying there and dying, not to mention the mass flames adding up and causing wipes. Surely I gotta be doing something wrong here....right?
But I don't see people calling on tanks everywhere for not using their defensive cooldowns. Even the AI tanks does that. Even chocobo tank does that. But that isn't important because demand that all healers do "moar deeps" and put a finger into their faces if he needs to conserve MP or do something besides deeps is more important than look for what is really wrong.
And if the healer is not dpsing at all into your party, mayhap the problem can be outside the healer. The tank sometimes can be pulling too much without defensive CD or even without tank stance, the DPS is eating every AOE...
Are non-healers going to continue to criticize healers based on NPCs that are nearly invulnerable using skills that shouldn't have at the levels they are (i.e., Arc casting Bane as 20) in easy beginner-grade dungeons that have nothing to do with end-game where the complaint stems from in the first place? The answer to both questions is yes.
16 minute Stone Vigil as a 41 NIN and got roughly 1.5 levels from the run. I'll take this over pugs any day.
Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.
I had the interesting experience of watching my ARC npc aoe on two enemies!
Also, the melee dps have their AoE in Halatali and will use it liberally.
I actually had to work at holding aggro off "both dots straight shot barrage" ARC on bosses because they have no clue how to use refresh and tactician. Also the healer dps'd too much and let me die.
(I had issues in WP boss 2 - the tank NPC kept trying to... tank the adds in the area that unlocks after the boss? The heck?)
