I will say this... They had to know this was coming. It's been an issue for years and they've done nothing to address it.

The funny thing about all these housing threads is... everyone already knew, or should have known, this was going to be the case. What do you expect the devs to say? They knew this was going to happen when they made the choice to create a new housing ward.
I didnt mean today I said in four years
I think a lot of the angst stems from people that lost out not because someone was faster, but because the server took a dump on them That said for the ones that are upset solely because they didn't get a house? While I sympathize....you should have seen this coming from 1000000000 miles away.

I assumed you would understand the full context of what I was saying, but I will state it more plainly: Short of time-outs there have been zero houses available on my server for quite some time. This is on one of the smallest servers. The issue is exponentially compounded on those with a larger population.
Why would you assume they would take things in context when you're quoting everyone else's posts out of context?
But if you think that we "should have seen this coming from 1000000000 miles away" then you really have no justification for defending SE.
If we can see it coming, they can see it coming. The difference is that they were in a position to do something about it.
I'm not sure whether you're trying harder to fanboy for SE or look down your nose at everyone else, but there is such a thing as digging a hole deeper.

Where have I defended them? I said there were not 10 million players and that it is in the middle of the night in Japan. How exactly are either of these (100% factual) comments defending them? I also said that people have a right to be pissed. Is that also somehow defending SE?Why would you assume they would take things in context when you're quoting everyone else's posts out of context?

If you're actually asking those questions because you're genuinely confused, then I suggest you spend more time reading than replying.
Otherwise, don't try to wield your ignorance as a weapon if you want your contributions to have as much value as mistakenly think they do.
As much as you want it to be, the thread isn't about you.
Hey OP, you have only yourself to blame for not having the capabilities to obtain a house of your choice since housing was a thing YEARS AGO. In reality you simply did not want a house badly enough, otherwise you would've done everything in your power to get what you wanted. Don't hit your head on your way out.
Im curious as to what people think devs are going to say. We’ll get a “sorry…server limitations…sorry..look forward to it…” blurb if they ever reply at all. They know the ward limitations were a problem and they doubled down on that problem by making a new ward with the exact same limitations.Well I mean... what do you want them to say? Since they clearly aren't going to "fix" anything any time soon, you're just going to keep complaining no matter what they say so what does it matter if they haven't come out and said anything mere hours after the patch has dropped?
