Squadron jobs?

I don't know if you ever did the level 60+ SCH job quests. The main NPC, Alka Zolka, is a MRD. You get some instanced quests where you venture yourself in some dungeons. The guy snaps aggro perfectly, uses cooldowns and self-healing abilities just fine. I'm guessing the squadron AI will behave like that.

There's lots of solo instances where NPCs fight alongside us. I haven't gotten to those more recent ones, but even in the original ARR instances, NPCs tended to be reasonably good at when to use their abilities. It was in knowing when to move that they seemed pretty idiotic at times, even standing right in the path of AoE time and time again. Have they gotten any better at that part?
