(EU/PAL) In-Game Item Campaign with ShopTo!

When i ask them (ShopTo) what to do about my order being cancelled, they just said sorry lol. While i'm reading in here that it can be buy on their website and getting the code if asked (which i won't because it's too expensive on the link i saw).
Will pass this campain i guess.

Just make sure that the purchase you’re about to make is listed on the ShopTo campaign site and that the purchase is done during the campaign period.

The problem is that all the back order items are showing up as being ready in NOVEMBER, which is long after the promotion ends. If you want us to use this site and order anything from these ill prepared people then this is how to do it.

YOU MUST STATE THAT ALL ORDERS PLACED DURING THE PROMOTION WILL BE GIVEN THE CODES, EVEN IF THE ITEM IS NOT PURCHASED UNTIL AFTER THE PROMOTION DUE TO BACK ORDERS NOT ARRIVING UNTIL MID NOVEMBER


As it stands no one will be getting anymore codes because all the items on the promotion are out of stock until mid November.

Actually no they're not. That's the release date of the the item in question (as in when ShopTo started selling it). If you look carefully it actually says 2016, not 2017. Nowhere does it actually show us the expected fulfilment date.

Initially I made this mistake too though, the whole website could be a lot better designed.

Would be nice to not have another maid outfit where the F up was so bad they had to redo the event in place of this current event last time....
I think you need a new EU marketing team as i know everyone on here would prefer the same treatment as NA in getting something like amazon for our event rather then a stupid magazine we have to travel miles for and jump through hoops to get our codes or a phone provider or like now a store front that simply can not handle the demand and only has qualified items that i am sure people either have or do not want (Minus the time cards that are mailed due to there being no digital option for... reasons?)
Yet another event i can not partake.
Guess i will never become a real saiyan like kakarot :'(

But that's exactly the point people are worried about - backorders don't count as purchases until they get back in stock at which point we're charged for them. What if they don't get enough stock before the campaign ends? I, as well as many others, have only the one choice of the game card for PC. The chances of them not meeting demand is ridiculously high. This is actually concerning.

No it's cool, they responded on this. Just need to order during the campaign period, don't need your things dispatched during it. You'll still be waiting for your item codes until dispatch though whenever it is.

Just hoping to hear from Shopto support atm, since due to their page being overloaded/crap I just got to payment, got that through, got a fancy image telling me something went wrong, and they took my money. Lovely campaign this.. (yes I am aware its not SE's fault.. but they chose to do it with Shopto, so I felt like sighing loudly)

I'm frustrated that I'm not able to participate in this campaign, as my options would be:

- Ship a physical PC game (these are still printed?) to Finland from UK, pay the taxes and everything.
- Buy a 60 day game card (if they were in stock and IF they worked on FF14 accounts where the game was purchased from Steam). I'm already running a 180 day billing cycle on my account, though, so this is a silly choice regardless.

I don't have a PS4 or an Xbox One. All the interesting S-E titles in ShopTo store are console-only.

Next time you do a campaign, please do consider that Europe does not only consist of the United Kingdom and not only console gamers play Final Fantasy XIV. A good idea would be to partner with a store that sells digital PC releases..

Buying the game from steam doesn't matter since it's not steam you pay the subscription fee to, it's SE. I renew my sub through the mog station, despite being a steam user, so that's a non-issue.

A friend did a back order and want to get another code. Can someone confirm if we can get 2 codes if we do 2 purchases in different times? They are for different SE accounts.
