Dear Healers who don't DPS

I'll keep that in mind about posts in the future.

Staying on topic though my only contribution is that we lost Cleric Stance due to casuals complaining, and the majority still can't handle doing anything other than spamming Cure on a tank at 95% health.

Throwing Cure 1 on a tank isn't necessarily a bad thing because of Cure 1 => Divine Benison

But then, that also assumes that there WHM isn't just going to sit there while Divine Benison absorbs damage....

I could pick through the 5 or so pages of this thread that have popped up since I've been here but I feel like just quoting this responds to all of it pretty brilliantly.

Thank you sir/ma'am, you've saved me half an hour and 5k characters worth of typing. You would have more than one upvote if it was up to me.

IMO, anyone that's citing Sylphie (of all characters) about whether or not WHMs should DPS is missing the point that her arc in ARR was about not letting pride in raw talent destroy you. Having her acknowledge and then adhere to the Conjurer's Guild rules was a huge turning point because it showed she was better understanding exactly how her powers worked, so instead of literally killing herself, she was pulling from the PROPER source.

To say it was about healers DPSing of all things really sells the entire quest line short.
