Tanks get to set the pace.

If you want to control the pace, you may politely submit your request to the tank for consideration or queue as tank yourself.

There is a subset of toxic healers in this game, who seem to want the entire run centered around them at all times.

Tank doesn't run at the healers custom preferred pace (which we can't know btw) and the healer throws a fit, but if the tank asks a healer to DPS instead of idle "we don't pay their sub"

Tank doesn't use convalescence, it's the end of the world. Healer forgets largesse, it's the tank's fault for pulling to much.

To toxic healers: we don't know what pace that you specifically want and not every healer want what you want. Feel free to ask for a particular pace, but if you feel it is appropriate to ask a tank to change playstyle, make sure you are also open to requests to change yours.

Yes, we do. Which means we have responsibility to go along with that privilege. We have a responsibility to play well and optimize as much as anyone else. So, big pulls are expected, whether you like them or not.

I can often disagree with things, but this one I'm actually agreeing with as a tank myself, and someone who also plays dps too. Sounds like they may be better suited for a dps role

I play both healer and Tank, personally it varies on how a tank may gauge DPS and how people communicate. Example; lower elvers over pulls are really wanted in my server, newer content I tend to ask if I'm tanking before hand. Most of the time people are ok, yet my play style involves gauging and checking my teams gear. ( I rather have a smooth run than a difficult one ). Now with that being said not everyone has the same mentality and either blame the healer or tank, yet most of the time healers don't speak up. Most tanks will bite the bullet and do fewer pulls if asked to which I think has become the new standard.

As per healers that I've met they over panic and don't know how to use their cool downs, are under geared, and/or even know their actions which makes it really irritating.

I'm glad your flexible yet most people assume and we all know what that means.

Lately however people ignore or just blindly go forth. Those who do acknowledge are paying attention...like you - and gauge how-much to pull. If a tank dies - well mostly I get yelled at or accused of being newbie - the irony being they didn't see my warning - and I call them out for it. Which gets ignored of course (people are just that utterly stupid).

I try to remember that its an all or nothing deal - all for the party - not for the one. I also try to give everyone the benefit of a doubt - until it becomes an obvious "rar-grr-youderpderp" - and it either results in said person getting kicked or a petition etc..etc.. - its sad when you are afraid to do a random dungeon pull being fearful of a bad experience because someone wants to speed run vs you just trying to get through the dungeon to learn how/when/where - and get some tomestones.

Like I've been saying - I want to enjoy this game - not be in fear of it because of someones opinion. - Thankfully I find like minded friends and we're forming our own groups. So I'll get it sorted soon enough.
By the way - if any of you fine gents/ladies are on Adamantoise? Hit me up - Love to hang out with you guys.
