We might just have to wait for the full notes. They didn't really cover all the jobs. you know?

for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?

Many people are not satisfied with how MNK currently feels to play for several reasons. First, SB MNK is very similar to HW MNK which was very similar to ARR MNK, whereas most other jobs got new shiny toys to have fun with. I think it's the job that's changed the least from its inception. Then there's the debate about riddle of fire. This skill makes your gcd slower in exchange for increased damage, but this feels weird to many players because MNK has always been a very fast job. Also, at level 66 MNK unlocks tackle mastery. This trait gives an additional effect to shoulder tackle depending on you fist (fire, earth and wind), which makes it useless since these additional effects are not good enough to justify using anything other than fist of fire. Tbh that trait looks like a bad joke.haven't any great exp with sb mnks myself so far... but isn't mnk on one of the top spots for endgame as usual? what is the mnks main concern atm which should be fixed asap? im just wondering... if the cls really have so much issues that it should be rerolled as well... maybe u can gimme a hint? : /
MNK perfomance in raid is good though.

If you read the thread, and other threads in the forums about SB changes to MNK, people are dissatisfied with how the job plays now. Its relative power may be fine but if the job feels like crap to play then it doesn't matter. Some people will play jobs because of their power instead of how they play. Many people play jobs because they like the flow and/or aesthetic, regardless of it's power. So people who liked the speedy dance of 2.x/3.x MNK are now upset that the old flow is gone. Some of SB's job changes were for the better, many were simply different, but a few were bad. MNK is one of the bad ones for gameplay reasons, even if they're still doing great DPS.haven't any great exp with sb mnks myself so far... but isn't mnk on one of the top spots for endgame as usual? what is the mnks main concern atm which should be fixed asap? im just wondering... if the cls really have so much issues that it should be rerolled as well... maybe u can gimme a hint? : /
It's like SE didn't learn after making BRD a bowmage in 3.x. If people are used to a fast, free-flowing style, you can't just take it away and introduce cast times without ruining what a lot of people play the job for. I hope they don't have to wait until the next expansion to get what they love about the job back like BRD mains did.

They said only six jobs are receiving any changes: DRG, WAR, SCH, SMN, NIN and MCH
Monk's damage is fine. They actually parse close to Samurai. It's the mechanics surrounding the job many people are frustrated with.
It's the fact nothing has changed aside from a couple of offgcds since ARR.

It's a lot of things, Job mechanics that have been frustrating forever that have somewhat simple solutions that the devs opt not to take in favor of the most asinine ones, a complete lack of anything that could be called new actions, our old useless actions being untouched despite the devs saying they wanted to fix that in the action rework, and so on and so on.
There's a whole grocery list of complaints that I fully expect to go unaddressed.
