[Feedback] The Savage raid is way too stingy

that's the problem as far as I know since tokens has been a thing they've never updated the amount of logs required to get 1 upgrade from savage but yet you get free upgrades from a snooze fest 24-man, I don't mind them giving free handouts (i actually do, to me it's unnesesary) but if they are going give it out for free why makes us wait a month either reduce the logs amount for upgrades or increase the runs required from 24 man for upgrades.

Normally I dislike RNG, but personally I don't mind the stingy drops. I think there's a target audience for that, the elite crowd that want to be the first to be decked out in the best of the best. It's not like you need any of that gear for anything except the place that you get the gear for in the first place. That same audience needs that ridiculous grind just to stay the flood of complaints that there's nothing to do, and no challenge to be had.

The rest of us just wait a few months and nab the same gear within a couple of weeks that the pros spent months edging ever closer to carpal tunnel for. Like, I wouldn't necessarily want to stamp ~my~ name on that kind of system, but it provides some amount of entertainment to watch in action.

the topic of the thread is disscussing savage progression and the amount of savage drop you normally get to gear up, what you were talking about about is you think the system is only for elitist that wants to show off and are a bunch of complainers mocking a crowd for no good reason finilazing that you don't care (because I believe you don't even do savage) to wait because you will get later from 24-man. you are not off-topic because I dissagree you just are.

the thread if for people that are actually doing savage atm or those edgy elitist as you call them not for those who will wait for 24 man and you will actually need to gear for (ultimate) mode comig up.

I find it funny someone who doesn't raid savage calling people elite and hardcore. I'd even call my static quite casual, we only raid up to 3 hours for a few days a week and we've cleared O4S for about two months.

People spend more time alone in the game and don't do anything more than dungeons, yet we spend our time progressing and wiping. It's fun, I'm not sure why anyone would willingly just say such things unless they aren't that good at their job.



Odd patches like 4.1 are "catch-up" patches for those who don't raid savage, or whom are stuck on the later floors an opportunity to get more gear to help clear easier. Just like as usual we'll get Shinryu 335 weapons that'll be available if they don't have access to an O3S i340 dip upgrade. Savage raiders get 3 months of exclusive 340 upgrades. You don't raid? Tough luck. You don't make it past O3S? You are stuck at a i330 weapon until the catch-up patch extreme primal.

If you are still doing savage it won't make any sense to spend catalogs on upgrade items after 4.1. It's always like that, unless you switch jobs or have all the gear you need to spend logs on anything.

I would love to see the books swappable. Like I’d like to trade my O3 books for O2 ones. Only allow trade down not up though. I have so many useless O3 books..

I worked out that I'd need 28 o3 books for my BiS if I never won anything \o/

Which obviously wouldn't be doable before 4.1 even if I'd cleared week 1, which I didn't, so...

(tanks only need a single glaze from 2s, and nothing from 1s, for their optimal BiS afaik)

reflecting on this I have to agree that if my as a whole team including myelf were better we would had the pants from V3 and even if we cleared v4 we probably all would be fully geared up by now... I guess I was seenig it on the wrong side, if we aint clearing it we don't derver it simple and clear. If we want it we have to work harder. thanks thechnole you actually help me clarify my anger and confusion.

changing my previous thoughs on this threat I belive the system as it's fine as it's you want it you gotta work for it, if the team clears the floors you have more chances of loot per week and more tokens to get your gear. As for 24 man free drops Technole is right, it might be free loot for non-raiders but a help boost for those stuck in withing the current floors.
