Look we get that but it comes down to flow of abilities and design. Abilities shouldn't be made with all these ifs, ands, and buts. Before SB deployment had great meshing, it spread our buffs, so only had two buffs to give (galvanize and E4E) but it was straight forward and made the ability smooth. Now we still give two buffs but deploy only works with half of them. It used to read like 'spread scholar buffs to near by party members' now it's 'spread scholar buffs to nearby party members, but not excog, and if using role skill E4E that too'

It's poor deign, if your going to give us an ability that is a player side buff they should make sure it is balanced to work with our existing abilities.

It literally does the same thing it did in HW. Like wut. Deployment is why Adlo is being punished with increased mp costs.

What I feel would help SCH flow better:
Decrease the mp cost of Miasma II. It should be 150 to 175% the cost of Broil. Blizzard II was 133%. Its currently 233%.

Make Miasma II based on target, like gravity.

I get that, and I find SCH's design clunky and counterintuitive. But it's a case of be careful what you ask for, because as it is right now making Excog deployable would simply not work. It'd be far too OP.

Maybe they could make it so that deploying it spreads it out amongst everyone or something like that.

Or maybe deployment itself is part of the problem. I mean, deployed crit Aldo is so strong they had to do something, and nobody likes what the response was.
