Prioritize FC Houses over Personal Houses in Transfers/Purchases

Obviously you never ran an FC or guild in this game or any other game. So your selfish argument is squashed. FC 's are far more beneficial than your decorating just for your self satisfaction of owning something that just going to sit there and look pretty.

I understand your frustration when your FC friends have no place to call your own, but that does not mean I will give up my plot if you lot came to me with tears.

Given the choice, most players would gladly choose themselves over other people's FC. To them (myself included), your FC means little to nothing.

If FC is truly that more valuable than any single player, will any player in your FC give us his/her housing? When we formed our FC, our leader relinquished her plot and rebought it for the FC. She still has no place to call her own and has no guarantee for Shirogane.

The system has some fundamental flaws, but as someone said, any kind of head start would make Shirogane essentially an FC-exclusive housing zone.

If people are set on getting a house, consider grabbing a plot left vacant in one of the other three zones when people inevitably move to Shirogane.

why are you arguing? both of those things can be true. an FC house can be more valuable and you still can't expect people to give up something for strangers. if you remotely liked those people the first solution would be to invite them to your FC, not give them your house.

Why should FC be of more importance over personal though, we all pay subs.
Just because a horrible housing system is in place and they never really cared to address the issues even for SB....
I have been trying since housing was first introduced to get a house and still do not have one

Guess you haven't heard of company airships. The FC needs a house to use airships simple as that. Also the FC needs a house so everyone in the FC can have a room for themselves and enjoy some of the benefits of housing. SO yea FC's should have priority over housing vs individual players.

That's just bad game design, and not a reason for someone to have to give up their personal house for an FC. Airships should never have been locked to housing in the first place, and apartments means that ONLY on Balmung do you need to be in an FC to have access to some form of housing, because Balmung is the only server apartments are full on.

Push for the system to be designed better, not for certain people to have special privileges over others.

To be fair, a majority of the problem was mixing personal housing in with FC housing because some zones looked too empty. It was fine for a time, but in the long run I feel it was rather shortsighted if they were intending for the game to increase in popularity and growth. It's probably too late to fix it now and hindsight is 20/20

So there's always going to be an argument from people due to the mindset and actual fact that housing was FC first.

This is why they have apartments - no longer needed in FC's

While I agree with you that housing can be necessary for FCs, the fact is that taking housing away from private owners or restricting Shirogane to FCs only is not the solution. The solution is uncoupling the workshop from the house. Just make a stupid public hangar, SE. It's not that hard.

Archeage was worse. You had limited housing space that had to be done in a Tetris esque manner, meaning one asshole could plop down a large house claim in the middle of the area and effectively lock out a potential 7-8 small ones.
