Shirogane Housing and Relocation

Wish it included a copy and paste of the furnishings. I spent a lot of time getting everything in my house right, but no longer wish to live in the Goblet and was looking to move to the Lavender Beds... I'm not enthusiastic about even trying - yes, trying - to place everything as it was, at all.

Just take snapshot of your current layouts. Plus they can't guarantee copy paste floors if people move different size house.

I'm... uncertain how to feel about the discount. On the one hand, it makes things more affordable for those wishing to upgrade. On the other... it furthers the already extensive competitive and offers a discount for house flippers who are just going to log off in front of their old houses.

It's almost not worth bothering with any longer. Once Shirogane releases, no one on Balmung or Gilgamesh who has a house will transfer regardless of the perks. You can't give them another house. The devs missed the mark entirely on that.

Those of us that have FCs but no house might like to be able to transfer the FC to another world where some of our ex members transferred.

I'm a bit confused by the 30% relocation discount. Why would you relocate when you can just leave the original to be demolished and collect almost all the gil back? (assuming you have the gil to cover both of course)

EDIT: I rambled quite a bit in my original post so here is the short version-
Right now you can either wait out the 40 day timer and get 80% of your gil back and then wait god-knows how many days/weeks/months for a new house that you want to buy to open up.
OR
Find a house you want to buy that is open, relinquish your old one for 0% of your gil back, then be able to buy the new house immediately.

The new feature lets you buy the new house immediately and still gives you 30% of your gil back along with some huge QoL upgrades.

Risk reduction. At the end of the day I'll either have a Shirogane house or my old house in the Goblet, but I'll still have one of a limited number of housing plots. Waiting for the timed demolition exposes me to the risk that I relinquish my old plot (where it will then 100% be snatched up by someone) and be unable to buy a Shirogane house in time, leaving me with none of a limited resource (houses) and a bulk of a nonlimited resource (gil).

Obviously pasting a small layout to a large wouldn't work; so obvious was the impossibility of it, that I thought it pointless to put in my post as I assumed anybody reading couldn't possibly think such a belief was in the post because of the aforementioned obviousness. I guess you really do need to specify everything online...

As for snapshot, that really isn't the answer as it'd take a lot of screenshots; with said screenshots I'd still have to do the floating tricks and non-grid-based positioning I did and get it right to fully replicate my old layout -- a lot of effort.

It's just a wish is all. I did say I wasn't enthusiastic about it, but I will try nonetheless.
