The toxic players meaning those who actively used the parser to harass people, for the sake of harassing people. I can remember a good deal of complaints about people using the parsers for harassment, hell back in the i90 days, I was harassed myself on an alt for having low numbers with my horrible gear (doing Wanderer's Palace NM for tomes to get that better gear). They aren't the effect of a parser for sure, but sadly a lot of people do see it as that, and SE did as well, so they made a decision on it as a business.

Don't misunderstand me, I've played MMOs for years, and in those MMOs, especially WoW, I've seen less toxicity over DPS numbers then anything. I'm in full support of an official parser

Could not agree more. In a good run of the O4S dummy, I'm lucky to even see a second TFC. If I need to perform mechanics I want to try to optimize my DPS while performing mechanics. SSS will in no way, shape or form help me with that. Clearing it may be a baseline for your gear and your knowledge of your rotation, but putting that rotation into practice while executing the actual fight is another beast all together
