Of course he does, just as he regrets showing that viera concept art (based on comments he has made during past interviews when the subject is raised). Unfortunately players can't seem to articulate "this is just concept art" or "this is just a joke one of our artists made to lessen tension during a grueling work day" as "we will never be adding this", instead believing that "if they show it, it must be coming to the game!"

He doesn't appear to regret adding the Yo-Kai or Garo mounts which are arguably far, far more immersion breaking than a motorcycle in a setting we already know to have highly advanced mechanical constructs. The primary reason for avoiding adding it - the slow mount speed - has been eliminated as of 4.0 and as a result adding it to appease fans who desire it seems like a wise move.

It's not an unreasonable request in a game that does not shy away from embracing references to previous Final Fantasy titles at multiple turns. Furthermore, developers are on record stating one thing and doing another so ti's not as if there's no possibility of stances changing.

I still find it silly that the only way to check if you're entitled is after you receive the reward. That's like a track shipping status that only update when the item arrived at your doorsteps.

Yeah I agree it is a tiny bit annoying, wish there was a way to actually check such like some games have a link or something made just for that purpose but meh..what can ya really do haha.
