In all honesty it's not NEARLY as bad as other games. So many people try to make a copy of Drizzt Do'Urden in MMO's is almost a joke. I'm actually surprised I haven't encountered an Elezen with that name yet.

Keep looking. I've played on Mateus, Gilgamesh, Balmung, and Zalera, and I've encountered white-haired, dark-skinned, Duskwight Drizzt wannabes on all of them. Much Emo. So original.

I'm ok with it. One thing I think SE does so well with the FF series is blend magic and tech so well together where neither feels out of place.
