IS it just me... or is FFXIV boring?

Despite the topic being 4 years old, it's still true. I was done with the SB content in a matter of weeks. Now it's back to the same old farming tomes nonsense in incredibly boring and stale aoe-grind dungeons. It's boring. If it wasn't for roleplay I wouldn't even subscribe. However, with that said, I appreciate Final Fantasy XIV for the RP haven that it is. There isn't a better MMO out there when it comes to outfits, customization, housing, and everything else that makes RPing here a blast.

Most games get boring if you are done with the content but FF has still a lot to offer if you want to do it. There are savage raids, different classes to level, crafter and gatherer to level and ofc the grind for archievements. There is plenty to do if you really want to.

Not really, especially in regards to combat. XIV has probably one of the most mind numbing class designs with combat pre-endgame. Most jobs are lucky to have a 1-2-3 combo and something else to do around level 40. By contrast, the last time I leveled a character in SWTOR, by level 10 I felt far more engaged with combat than I do most jobs at 40-50-ish in XIV, a lot due to more abilities being front loaded on a class.

Im really glad im not the only one here..., ive been mostly dreaming away blind alots of times in this game for search of something that could return me back for passion in this game.
I loved the community with players, many still awesome i regret left, but nothing gives me fun as before...
Tried out so many things and i love final fantasy, i want to believe i can still find the spark again...

Thing is i really love my Character, i really love the storyline, i really love beauty animations and emotes.
Its the most loved game for me and i really dont go on breaks because im tired of doing that, it made me miss the game how much i love my char and my classes. It suits so up with my Butterfly but...

I need a saving for find the love again for my fun here again...

I personally am letting my sub drop off, which was decided recently. I have Fall semester starting, a job, a girlfriend, I don't have time anymore. Hope you find a game that fits more of your needs. Cheers.

Have enough of this hamster wheel, this game is just so boring af. And yes I have cancelled my sub renewal, better spend my time playing other games and reading this forum. At least the forum is more fun than the game itself.

Tera was released , end game not boring , Wow Released end game not boring , GW2 end game was hard as hell but not boring just over challenging.
FFXIV end game isnt even there. Like cmon you want me to spam AK/WP nono stop.. REALLY.
Oh and Coil only once clear a week ... HMMM..
I mean its bad enough that the game has over half its player base leave already but 2.1 isnt even bringing anything new thats worth doing.
The drops from crystal palace are going to be worse then Coil so people are going to clear it once then never go back cause AK/WP are still more benefitial . SE have no idea whats going on.
Believe me Free to Play isnt far off
