I think everyone has run something, felt like they carried the group and then gotten no comms and been annoyed. To say that one role is more deserving of commendations is crazy though, there are good and bad players in all roles.

In terms of one role having more stress on it than others I think it very much comes down to the stress you place on yourself. If you DPS and just aim to have a decent execution of your rotation that isn't a lot of stress; you could go above and beyond by keeping your rotation up while weaving in support abilities and managing your own aggro.

As a tank you can AoE aggro then rotate your aggro combo and never drop stance or you could mitigate through cooldowns while popping DPS stance to try to help push more damage.

Personally as a healer I feel like we have it the easiest amd the hardest - just depends on the run. If I have an amazing tank then any dungeon run is a breeze and it lets me be a better player because I can DPS more. If I have an undergeared or unskilled tank I may have to spam heal more and the stress grows, though I'd argue some of the stress I feel is self inflicted because while I'm spamming Cure II I'm annoyed that I'm unable to contribute DPS.

Also though not directly related to this I noticed someone say something about a group of healers and tanks being unable to complete a dungeon without DPS. This is just not true. I've personally done runs of current content, mostly as 3 healer 1 tank, that have been on par with the time it would take with DPS instead. PLD/AST/WHM/WHM in particular is pretty amazing. I would say you probably couldn't do this as DPS even on RDM. Tanks and healers are necessary for virtually all content, DPS are basically just necessary for things with enrage timers. Not trying to put down DPS just being realistic.
