Lying to players to fill sub spots in a static.

I can't be the only one this has happened to, recently, my previous static decided to disband (one player was deployed, and another just plain lost interest, the lead, who's actually a personal friend hasn't even been online since)
At the time we were just fresh into o3s.
Here I am, not a week later and i'm already onto o4s Neo progression, this leads into my topic; Lying to players to fill your sub spots for the night.

This has already happened to me once in the past week, where I was "trialed" for my role, then the next day, the group was full in discord and i was removed with a pm from the raid lead stating "thanks for covering yesterday, but our main is back." to which all replies were blocked (go figure.)

Now I'd be more understanding if the explanation was "You didn't make the cut" but "Our main is back" is bs.

The entire time, I was fed lines about being made the permanent WHM of the static, and tonight, i'm expecting the same to happen with my "current" group seeing as the discord was filled up and neither me, nor the other healer being "trialed" were invited to the group. This reminds me of a thread in Reddit saying that some jp guy went online to rage about the situation as you are in now. So the community all dressed in white raided the FC's house and stayed until the static leader made a public apology. The vid is funny as hell. And yeah, I feel you. That's why I don't join statics.

Beware of jumping to conclusions. It's possible their main WHM really did intend to leave the group or stop playing the game and then had a change of heart while the trials were going on.

Blocking you on Discord was pretty unkind though

Seems really rude but if they did lie to you you probably dodged a bullet. Trust me being stuck in a static you don't want to be in is not a fun experience.

Devils Advocate: Maybe you were under-performing for their expectations and chose to save you some embarrassment. 'You didn't do go' is never easy to hear. It also keeps them safe from the whole 'Parser harassment' issue.

At any rate, it happen, time to move on. You have your V3 clear and can find a more well suited group.

I did originally post my parse and overheal percent but removed it, (derrrp) good numbers, as o3s is a super simple fight, as is reaching Neo Exdeath. Even with that said, there's no point in denying the validity of what you said. Just personally not sure it was the reason!
