Lying to players to fill sub spots in a static.

The entire time, I was fed lines about being made the permanent WHM of the static, and tonight, i'm expecting the same to happen with my "current" group seeing as the discord was filled up and neither me, nor the other healer being "trialed" were invited to the group. I'm seeing people missing the point here so I put the part that was skimmed.

This is what's wrong here. He's being told he's gonna be permanent but then, after the run, he's told he was only covering. If you want someone to cover for you, just be open about it. There are people who don't mind covering. I really don't see the sense in lying/omitting about it.

No, we're not missing the point. All of the information is SOLELY from the OP. The OP is not giving us the chat logs, or exact wording or context of conversations.
Trusting the OP's version is taking a lot on faith because it's so one sided, and so convenient on how the situation played out to get her the most sympathy.
We don't know if the group actually said the OP was GOING to be the new permanent healer, or if she only thought that was what they were saying.

That's not how i treat people, especially if they're speaking about other people. (If you mean that we take everyone at their word about what happened.. if that's not how you were meaning that, i apologize for the miscommunication.)

The OP might have gone through all this, and if she did.. then it sucks; but at the moment, it's just pure condemnation of the other party and she makes herself look to be a martyr by how she was treated by "the other party." We don't have a name, we don't have logs, we don't have anything to back her words up.
I'm not going to take a leap of faith to make someone feel better by believing a story that has nothing backing it up.
