holy wall-of-text, batman!
wall-o-text, but i think he says : lvl up fast
I really hope they nerf it. I really enjoy partying, but party XP is going way too quickly these days. I purposefully made it take me about a month to go from Archer 28-37. Then in a moment of weakness, I went in a full party doing the whole AoE thing and in like an hour I was suddenly Archer 42.
The party was fun. But the XP was too fast. I don't want to hit Archer 50, or I'll have nothing left to do as archer, for the most part. End game isn't really ready.
I expect an XP nerf in 1.2. I really hope it is sufficient to make the rest of my Archer last a while longer. (Or at least, the next few jobs I level)
IMO, your a casual... if you don't like it, that's your problem. Yoshi P. may or may not fix it. There's this and that kind of player and if you not one you're the other.
Not everyone has their class at 50, 40 or even 30. So like to solo and it's tough grinding as it is.
If you have the 'click' of knowing a lot of people to party with, then for sure you'll be smart and start chaining mobs for experience point as the system has intended to work.
The OP merely pointed to the "elephant in the room" and those who complain about this or that can't ever be ignorant again.
From now to 2012 and '13 there's a lot of content going to happen guys! You're either on the boat or not. If you take a long vacation you'll miss out just like your missing out on life (hard-core or casual). The OP made it clear, you can take advantage now or you can miss out later (or maybe not). If not, many low-level new comers will learn from this and join up just in time for end-game fun and fortune.
"MMORPG art should imitate RL to get the full experience!"
~'\[[_LEGACY_]]/'~TENTs because solo-friendly content forces me to want one!

1,000,000 XP in 20 mins. I timed it. INSANE XP lol. I too like to PT normal and loved the length of time LVin took in 11.
So my nightly 4-8 leves after work while downing my beer isn't ideal.. hmm.. guess I should quit waiting for the rest of my LS to get off their butt's and logon and look for a group...
Could you post a TLDR version for me? I don't mean to be rude at all, but I'd like to know of this before I miss out on the opportunity. Fees are being implemented soon and while I have my personal chocobo now, I'd like to at least hit 50 on my LNC before they do.

Yes XP is way to fast ATM but seriously I think the biggest issue is the strongholds, I mean I wAS on my THM 40 fighting ixali (sp) we were getting 1k-1.2 on chains over and over no PL just a party of ppl 40-45 mobs were 49 ish.
went 40-45 in no time.
Reminds me of Davoi in FFXI back in the day when we would go there and exp are ass off till they nerfed the crap outta it and noone partied there anymore lol.
I hope they nerf beastmans exp like they did in FFXI it will also get rid of the exp/spiritbind/coffer parties i see all the time. lol I will not join them cause usally there like low 40's and just want to get carried. That way they wont be so crowded you'll have the spiritbond and coffer parties only.

How far can you nerf until it becomes shit people dont like it.
nerf one thing people stop doing it and move to next. Nerf that they move to next, nerf everything they get angry and come here. Balance!
