Confusion: Archer to Bard? Where is the Ranger Job?

Maybe you should re-read that bold text again, and then look at all of the jobs that have been released. A gladiator is a tank, so is a paladin. A PGL is a DD so is a Monk. A Lancer is a DD and the Dragoon will only enhance their capabilities. A CNJ has the best healing in the game, so will the WHM. A THM does the most damage of the casters, so will the Black mage ETC. But instead we have a class who was first advertised as a DD (even the intro cinematic shows the ARC GETTING buffed with fire and the like, to launch a 3 arrow multi-shot) being turned into something completley opposite of it's original, and to some extent current function.

Now apply the second quote to the first quote, then think about my last post. You appear to be a having difficulty learning from your previous mistakes. Your making a very bold assumption, based on your hyped up desire of how you want it each job to be. With no facts in any way, shape, or form of what each job would be.

Look, you have 2 options. Play the archer, or play the bard. I understand ou want a ranged DD job for archer, but thats not in the first round of jobs.

Your right except I and others had their archer to 50 long long long before this game even started to talk about specialized jobs. So now i'm going to say this again as someone who was playing archer from the begin. There was no assumption on my part they seem to be taking a job that was purely damage dealer and turning into a support job A FULL YEAR AFTER the game has been released. It just doesn't make sense.

I am not certain I understand you point. Are you posting to say simply that to you it doesn't make sense? I am curious, in what sense does it not make sense. It makes sense to me.

Sure, I personal believe they would have been better off by miles, to either make each job a specialized exension of the class. OR, perhaps have 2 options for each job.

I say that about the job option, because appearently, everyone who didn't get the job they want the first round appears bound and detirmined to attempt to convince us SE is doing it wrong, or that we are bad guys for making sense of it, when they cannot.
