This thing you guys have going is what is called an elitist attitude.

So if I want people to give a little bit more than half of their ass, I'm an elitist? Suggesting that people actually do a rotation rather than hit one button? ELITIST!

You are more than welcome to have the most whimsical adventure of your life when you are playing solo. When it comes to group content, however, there is no reason to value said whimsical adventure over the desires of the other three to seven party members.

Don't take too much offence. It's a word slung around on these forums all nilly-willy. It holds no weight for their intended reason of using it- to dismantle your argument by saying your request is irrational and unfair all with 1 little word. It's lazy arguing at best. It's not elitist to have a bare expectation of your team in group activities- whether that be IRL or in an MMO (One of those M's stands for multiplayer btw, Arcano.)

I was basically just trying to jovially articulate that having expectations slightly higher than the bare minimum doesn't make one elitist.

In all honesty, 'elitist' probably isn't a wholly inaccurate descriptor for me. I do tend to judge people pretty harshly - I just don't often say anything or take any actions (in-game, at any rate).

My aim was to hopefully help OP see that it isn't a black and white issue. People who kick others aren't always just trying to pick on the little guy who is doing their darndest! It seems like a bit of a lost cause at this point though.
